Skid Mounted Methanol Hydrogen Production Equipment

VOLDA TECH offers on-site hydrogen supply ranging from 3Nm³/h up to 600Nm³/h.There are 3 series of hydrogen plant that can meet customers needs for a variety of occasions;VT.DPH 5-100,VT.YPH 5-600,VT.MPH 5-600 which are skid-mounted or modularized and can be placed in parallel to expand output. The VT systems produce hydrogen by converting methanol with Methanol Steam Reforming. Decentralised hydrogen production offers a safer, more reliable and cost-effective alternative to conventional hydrogen supply by tube trailers or electrolysers and a significantly lower environmental impact.
VOLDA TECH uses its proprietary reforming technology to generate a hydrogen rich stream from methanol and water. To ensure long lifetime, high system efficiency and avoid catalyst deactivation, the water is purified before it is led into the reformer.

By re-using the waste gases , waste heat of the process and catalytic combustion heat of methanol ,the energy efficiency of the VT.MPH is optimised to
the highest level. No external fuel gases are needed for the reform reaction and steam generation. The off-gas from the PSA is used as input for the burner that provides heat for the reforming reaction. The residual heat of mixture gas,which is coming out of reforme, is used for heating methanol water mixtures by heat exchanger.
VOLDA TECH also offer methanol-water solution mixing station and water purification and can therefore be connected directly to the methanol tank
and feed water lines. Other required connections are electricity for controls and auxiliaries, hydrogen and nitrogen for system start-up and compressed air for valve operation.
